The Burcina Park is a protected natural reserve that covers an entire hill located in the area between Biella and Pollone. It is home to a huge variety of plant species including exotic trees, shrubs and flowers from around the world, such as the great redwoods which were planted in the area surrounding a small lake. What annually attracts many nature lovers is the Conca Dei Rododendri (Basin Of Rhododendrons) with its centenarian plants that bloom in mid-May, offering an explosion of colors which have made the park famous throughout Italy.
